Bug in a Cup

So you have seen the 'kits' you can buy at the store or the bug containers that have those special magnifying glasses so you watch your trapped creature... well, this is my dollar version. If you don't have a magnifying glass, you can get this nice sized thick one at the dollar store. Trap a bug in a clear class (we had clear plastic ones which was extra nice for the itty bitty kids) and put the magnifying glass right on top. We trapped a wasp, a bee, catepillars and a bunch of ladies bugs. Pretty fun science stuff for little kids!
